Request Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your Paw Map India account and all associated data at any time. This applies to every account type: feeders, shelters and NGOs, veterinarians, animal ambulance services and legal professionals.

Option 1: Delete your data from inside the app

Open the app, go to Profile → Settings → Delete My Data and confirm twice. This removes your profile, check-ins, listing, posts, volunteer signups and emergency reports and responses right away. It keeps your sign-in (email and password) so you can come back and start fresh. To remove the sign-in as well, use Option 2.

Option 2: Request full account deletion by email

What gets deleted

When you email us, we will delete your account, your sign-in and all associated data within 7 business days, including:

• Your profile and account information
• Feeding check-ins and streak history (feeder accounts)
• Your shelter, veterinary, ambulance or legal listing, including any support requests or volunteer tasks you've posted, and all branches if you manage a multi-branch listing
• Emergency reports you've submitted, emergency responses you've confirmed, and any contact details shared through volunteer signups or emergency responses
• Photos you've uploaded, including emergency photos and the one-time feeding-area photo
• Any verification documents and form answers you submitted when applying for the Verified badge (documents are normally deleted as soon as your review is complete)
